everyone goes through these phases especially teenagers, you should just let her be and im sure she will eventually come around, we all want to be like are friends, jelousy is one reason, and others its just what teens like to do, dont worry she'll be fine.

The only thing you can really do is make sure that she can be herself around you, that you are not creating an environment where there are judgements that require her to put on a mask to please you, then she will have that one refuge.
In time she will figure out how much easier it is, how much less energy it takes, how much more relaxed one can be just to be oneself. Good luck.

I think it depends how her friend is behaving, if you see that he or she drags her into really bad habits, then one day you should talk to her in 4 eyes and explain her, that you don't want her do detriorate herself into drugs or alcohol, and explain what it wil do to her. but if you see that that friend is okay, still, don't rush to think it's really OK. and don't forget to tell her that you love her as she is.
