Lets get some things straight: a is the slope, which equals -1. y is y and x is x. b is y intercept, i assume. so now we have y=-x+b
b=y-intecept and b=x-intercept. You can't find anything more precise than this because any line that has a slope of -1 has x- and y-intercepts that are equal. You can pick any real number for the intercepts and it will work, except zero because that was one of your requirments.

The graph is a straight line. "a" is the slope. The y intercept yi is the value of y when x = 0, so "b" is the y-intercept. The x-intercept is the value of x when y=0, or xi = -b/a. But xi is equal to yi which is equal to b, so b = -b/a, which means a (the slope) must be -1
