I have quite broad shoulders and average-size arms. So would it be recommended to do some weight exercises (2-2.5kg weights on 1kg bar)? I'm afraid I'll be building up more mucles contributing to a wider shoulder and larger arms!

you should focus on your lower body then... work more on your hams, quads and glutes... do excercises like squats, pilates and scissor lifts. Also you may want to look into jade eggs.
