It has been a while, since my friend passed on. We used to phone one or the other, every night. To verbally "tuck" each other into bed. It was comforting. Sort of a check list of did you lock up--feed the dog--say your prayers--It finished the day., Yea, I miss that.

In November when I was sick. I fell asleep on the sofa and my oldest favorite cousin of all picked me up and put me in the bed. It was kinda funny. I remember thinking for a moment I was 5 years old again. Before that. I was a child.

Funny you should ask....
I had knee surgery a few months ago & my husband tucked me into bed after I got home from the hospital.
Most surgeons have an iffy bedside manner but when it comes to his family, my husband is GREAT!!!
