physical beauty is what we notice first .. sorry but true it dont matter who is looking you could be dog ugly but you will notice a pretty person first .. but is is the personality that hold a person to you .. i dont care what they look like if they have a bad personality that is what i see

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How deep it goes depends on the person. Some people it really is only skin deep, others it is through their entire being. But that doesn't matter so long as the person they are with loves them and thinks they are beautiful because it shouldn't change over time.

No nothingis mor eulger than jim carrey afte rhis picture "the cable guy". He can't be forgiven for that movie and his part in it.
Beauty is not skin deep but clear though. It's what;s inside as well as out side that counts.

MileyCyrus: elegance is fairly pores and skin deep. Who fairly cares what you seem to be on the exterior? what's fairly acceptable is whats on the indside. it type of feels to me that meaning you imagine elegance isn't actually pores and skin deep, which I accept as true with. It takes more desirable than what's pores and skin deep to make someone acceptable, so no, elegance isn't pores and skin deep. this question, regrettably, makes me hum "acceptable Soul" by using Jesse McCartney in my head, haha!

Beauty is inside, not that I don't appreciate a lovely woman. But looks fade after time, unless you have the money to keep them. I would take a lady with not so good looking exterior that has that inter beauty,over the lovelies any day. *

Aesthetic beauty is only skin deep and will eventually fade.
Inner beauty (decency, compassion, honesty) does not fade and is, in my opinion, more valuable.
Like Judge Judy says, "Beauty fades...dumb is forever."
