I was playing some baseball a few months back when a ball got lodged up into the face behind homeplate. I climbed up there and got the ball down and then not thinking it was as far as I climbed I jumped down (the jump ended up being pretty far my legs even collapsed under me when I hit the ground). Ever since I have had this pain in the middle of my spine. It's not a shooting pain or anything it's contained to one specific spot on my spine. It doesn't hurt normally only when I stetch back or any sharp lean backwards that bends my spine inwards. Anyone ever have anything like this? Maybe when I jumped the force cracked a vertebrae or something like that? I havn't seen a doctor because it doesn't noramally effect any activites I do including running, lifting, or any other workout stuff.

What you might have is a pinched vertebrae, and you should not skip seeing the doctor.
You might need some x-rays taken , believe me when I say this,
just go see your doctor before it worsens.
For your own good.

sounds minor , just a lingering from the impact. id get x rays just in case. but if your running and doing other normal things you probably are fine. if you go see the doc he will probably give you a series of exercises to relieve back pain. also strengthen the core will benefit you later. see the doc anyways for your own sanity. I've had back pain for 20 years, i never had surgery. just do the exercises like pelvic tilts''.

Or it might be possible that you slipped a disk or bulged a disk. I would see the Dr. now before it possibly turns into something worse!
Pain IS there for a reason, it's your bodies way of telling you there IS something wrong!
