Most scholarships in Canada and US are for citizens. Generally, it is far more expensive to attend universities as an immigrant, especially in Canada, where the government funds the universities more. Private universities in the US are just more expensive in general.


If you are just refering to attending schools in Canada or the US, you just need to check out the websites of the universities and apply as an international student. Each country has different visa/immigration policies, so the procedure that you would follow from there would vary depending on where you are going. If you apply to the schools first, they will help you sort out the immigration stuff after you get accepted.
