When I was in school I was in gymnastics, cheerleading and ballet and I heard the same complaint from alot of my friends and team mates, they say with certain athletic choices in particular girls are more likely to be "late bloomers" due to such strenuous activity and training, it even happens to olympic athletes who have had their menses they just stop out of the blue but it does come back....
Gain some weight if need be, rest when you can and I know this may sound tacky but give time a chance hope things work out for you!!

You forgot to tell your age which is the most important factor. But the age you get your period may match with the age that your mom got your period or you might have some hormonal problems or you are not eating well. I think that the best thing for you to do is to visit a doctor soon.

Sometimes, when girls are extremely active, they begin their period later than usual. You should be going through puberty by now, so as long as everything else is happening (breasts, hair in new places) then I wouldn't consider it an urgent situation. Go to your doctor. Get a referral to a gynecologist. They can run painless blood tests and check everything out to make sure you're okay.

Don't rush it. Most of the ladies that I know want it to be over with rather than start. You have a number of years to worry about things that are more important. Some people mature in different ways and stages. My middle child had hers begin in 3rd grade and she was terrified. It will come sooner or later. Just don't quit keeping yourself in shape. Your health is very important! Have a great holiday!

that's pretty late to still not yet have it. Unless you're an extremely acting person (major athlete, for example), I'd go see the doctor to make sure everything's okay.
