Good question. I might be a monk in a monastery because I am a serious student of the word of God, the Bible. I'm also somewhat shy and would be naturally suited to the reclusive lifestyle of them. I doubt I'd be a knight because I'm not that bold or daring. The neat thing about the monasteries was that they also had gardens where much about plant life and agriculture was learned. Also, knowlege of science, mathematics, languages, food, past cultures and many other subjects were preserved and expanded in these monasteries, even during the so-called 'Dark' ages.

Well,
I would be on a mission to put an end to the Children's Crusade that happened in 1212 because it is a sad event in history.
I would have done whatever it took to stop those children from being sold into slavery and leaving home to begin with.

job.. hmm i'd be serving someone cuz i am female so i'd be a servant of some sort.
since i am also black i hope i'd be living in a fertile country with lots food and very little war. being enslaved by a rival tribe would suck.
