I also thought it was always just 'sctoch tape'. But yes, Scotch is just the brand by 3M. My question would be, are there any other brands of transparent adhesive tape?

The green plaid or the red plaid packaged one. I'm not sure of the brand name, I thought it was just scotch tape, lol
