In Puerto Pricesa, you can stay at DOS PALMAS. It's great there! You can go scuba diving, snorkling, kayaking etc. Night life is in the city...lotsa bars there....
Palawan is not really a party place like Boracay. It's more relaxed.

i've been to coron, palawan, and it's also a beautiful place, we stayed at club paradise, its a resort in dimakya island, only resort there.. its awesome really, u should try to visit it also..
