Look at people who's lives are worse than yours, for starters. Be glad you're not as stupid as them. Keep telling yourself positive things, and whenever you think something bad about yourself, think something positive!

What I find works for me is when I am feeling down I just get dressed up. I mean the whole nine yards. I look good I feel better. You have to look at your self and see the good stuff. Sometimes when you are feeling down you can't see it but you have to fight your way through all the negative thoughts and see the person you know is there.
Self love is something i get fussed at a lot around my house. I am not a beauty queen but I am not homely either. I know that I have good qualities however I am honest about the bad qualities also. It took me years to figure it out but it is all mind of matter. You can control how you feel about yourself everyday.
If this is all about some guy then you have to know that anyone would be lucky to be with you. Not that you are better than anyone else. But I believe that God Created each one of use just like we are. No matter if it is pimples, buck teeth, big nose, little ears. Whatever, He made me perfect in his eyes and that is all that matters to me in the end.
You will figure it out somehow. Just believe in your self and everything else will fall into place.

Feeling immediately follows thought, so if you focus on the things you do well, your positive attributes and the things that make you valuable and unique you will feel better about yourself. This takes some effort and you have to choose to think about the good things over and over but it gets easier with time.
Another 'trick' I learned years ago - I was a buyer and had to go to meetings with salespeople and I didn't know anything at all about what I was doing and I would panic - then I realzied that the people I was meeting with had no idea what I was thinking, and if I kept my body relaxed, looked alert and interested and asked thoughtful questions they would have no idea how stressed and insecure I was. I would try to conciously relax my body and appear relaxed...that training still kicks in today when I get into stressful situations where I feel out of my element...I start to breath a little deeper and conciously relax my body.

If you are able to read this you are already ahead of a number of people that are alive today! First of all, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! Write yourself some positive notes and place them around your house. I suggest that you put one on the refrigerator, on the front door, on the bathroom mirror, beside your alarm clock, and on your visor. GOD has given each and every one of us talents. It is your job to find what you do well and share it with others. Read and study the BIBLE with a group of non-denominational Christians near your home. This will absolutely give you confidence in knowing that HE sent HIS SON to die in our place. Jesus died so that we might have an opportunity to be among the saved. You can be a part of those in Heaven after judgment. Have the confidence that you deserve... after all GOD created man from the dust of the earth and woman from his rib. You and I are related to them and therefore we are a part of GOD! I want to be there after the Judgment with GOD and HIS SON. You can be too. Do you want to??
Have a great holiday!!

do things you're good at or do things you enjoy. accept constructive criticism and acknowledge areas you have to work on, but also remember the positive attributes about yourself. Sometimes you just have to think you can do it. It's all about attitude.
