how long will i bleed after a misscarriage?

just had a misscarriage and im wondering how long will i continue to bleed. and is it ok to have cramps too?

My wife bled for six weeks. Had to go on birth control pill to stop the bleeding or get a DNC. If you don't stop shortly you need to see a doctor or you could become anemic or you could bleed to death.

Yes. I bled for over a month & a half.
