I remember with the Pistons-Pacers brawl they just ended the game right there. Did they at least let the remaining players finish off the game? I think there was a little more than a minute left.

Yes, they actually finished the game with the remaining players (and the Knicks continued to suck, and lost - of course, they were losing at the time of the fight too)
