I think it depends on where you live, and what songs end up being requested. I haven't heard "The twelve days of Christmas" by The McKenzie Brothers (Doug and Bob) this year. I also haven't heard "Grandma got run over by a reindeer", and I doubt that the radio station I listen to would ever play two of my favourite Christmas songs - "I wish it could be Christmas everyday" by Wizzard and "Merry Xmas everyone" by Slade - because they're British (I'm in Canada) and over 30 years old that the audience wouldn't have heard of them!

I don't believe in Christmas Cats
With candy canes and Santa hats
They try to climb the Christmas tree
They want to sit on Santa's knee
They open presents by mistake
And gobble up the Christmas cake
The Christmas cats are very bad; they tell you Santa is their dad

It gets almost no airtime at all

Anytning by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, aka TSO. They are awesome. If you're not familiar with them, they do mostly instrumental music but it's rock based. They are great. I saw them in concert and they put on an amazing show. I highly recommend them. Their CD is in my CD player right now.
