Probably about 6 to 8 months. He's having surgery for a knee injury.

I read in November that he will be back in 4-6 months. He might be ready to wrestle at wrestlemania in April, but chances are the WWE will hold of his return until May so that way they can sell next year's Judgement Day PPV.

he will be back in about 4-6 months maybe even readyu to wrestle in wresltemania. but rumors say that since rey mysterio's contract will be expiring around the time that he comes back, he wants to move to TNA.... but it is not yet confirmed.
