when i celebrate my birthday, im celebratin the year that just past n all the good times i had. thats why we get together w/ friends, b/c those are the people u just spent the last year with.

yeah, free stuff n cake is good, but it more about the memories n hopes of another great year.

I have been wondering that all my life. Its as if we are all obsessed with dying, and cant wait to go. I dont really celebrate mine, but I never really liked doing things for myself, instead I would try to do something nice for someone else.

yeah, countless of times.

but i remember that we celebrate n giv thanx to god for the day i was born n for everything that has happend to me since then.

life is too short to be thinkin bout death. why worry bout sumthin we hav no control over, just a waist of time if u ask me :)

Well, since most people do not die on their own birthdays, you can generally trust that you will be alive on your birthday, so why not celebrate?
