Since there was no threat to sue, then I doubt it's proof of anything you'd like it to be proof of, except your own ignorance.

edit:
and Reba, obviously you didn't follow the story either. The Rabbi DID offer to provide and pay for the menorah, and he NEVER demanded, requested, or even suggested the trees be taken down--that decision was made entirely by the airport.

Personally I think it was rude of the airport to go to the extreme and take down the "holiday trees" in lieu of displaying celebrations of other ethnic groups. So I say not only the Rabi but the other people who went into an uproar were absolutely justified. It proves that the US is a diverse place where all groups demand and are entitled to equal respect.

He didn't threaten to sue. He asked to add a Menorah (which he offered to provide) to the display. The airport authorities, for reasons known only to them, responded by removing everything.

No. If we were the airport would have just put up an Monera instead of taking down the Christmas trees.

Who ever gave you the idea that the USA is run by Jews? Turn on your damn radio and tell me how many Jewish songs you hear vs. the tremendous quantity of Christmas songs? Turn on your TV and tell me if it isn't riddled with Xmas ads, music, talk shows, etc. When was the last time you heard anything about Channuka? Drive along the side streets of my neighborhood and count the number of Christmas lights, reign deer, Santas, wreaths, nativity scenes and so on. Any Jewish signs of their holiday? None! You are a disgrace to your religion, if you really have one.

No, it proves we live in a politically correct United States where no one wants to feel insulted and where officials are so worried about being sued that they opt to do nothing versus the right thing.

That rabbi was so wrong. If he wanted a menora as big as that christmas tree, he should have gone and gotten one and had it put up, but he should remember that in the United States, there's something called Freedom of Expression that they don't have in Israel. He should never have asked them to remove the tree. How sorry is that!

The airport chief was Anti-American when he had them take down the tree.

The rabbi should remember that anytime he makes people feel bad, he is not truly being spiritual.

Apparently, the Rabbi is making all Jews look bad to some people.

No. I think it it very idiotic not to honor his request After all, SEA-TAC is an international airport. What better way is there to greet the INTERNATIONAL travelers than with different displays from countries world wide?

Just his point of view...

People sue for everything today. When the old lady sued Mickey D's for the hot coffee, did it mean we lived in a Senior State? Or a Senile State???

Stop being so racist...
