I use it and love it. Nobody has said I look bronze or orangy.
All say it looks really good and natural.

Bare Mineral seems to be so popular because it was one of the first ones in the market, but since then there has been so many others that are much better. Yes, it tends to make you orangy, it's messy and you waste so much all over the place. A much better mineral makeup is pressed powder foundation by Helena Haberli. It goes on pefectly for a flawless complexion, it blends with your skin in about 5 minutes and make your color even and perfect. will not clog pores, and has freeze dried vitamins.

I've been using the bare minerals makeup for about a year. I will never buy any other kind of makeup again.
If you are referring to either pictures or television shots of women wearing the makeup I'd have to say it may be due to the photography or adjust the color of your tv for more truer tones. Fair skinned women should go with a shade lighter than they *think* is their color usually. (That does seem to be a problem with all makeup foundations, dry or wet, women tend to get a shade darker than actually suits them.)
Back to the "is it any good" question... yes it is.

Yeah I've noticed that too. I use Arbonne's mineral powder foundation. And I'm not orange, LOL.
theres about 16 shades to choose from and it comes with a free kabuki brush every time. Lasts about 9 months to a year, and is about half the price of Bare Minerals!
they ship it to your door. You can shop online or I can send you a catalogue. e-mail me if you like.

I love Bare Minerals!
However, I also like Ecco Bella. BM is what I use regularly, however. I always get a shade or two lighter than my skin tone--it ends up matching extremely well. However, it *can* clog your pores--Ecco Bella might be your best bet. Also, Sheer Cover is a fairly good one. Try going to your local health food store (hippie store, if you want to call it that) and look for all-natural foundations. They are often cheaper than the ones you order, and you can try them on before you buy.

no...it doesnt...i think the infomercial just makes you look like that...
ive been using bare minerals for about a year and a half now and its simply amazing. you have no idea how wonderful this stuff is, and its SO good for your skin.
if youre really skeptical about it go to your local sephora or ulta store and have the people that work there try it on you...they will take you through all the steps and you can decide whether you like it or not before you buy it.
plus, it is SO worth the price...my starter kit lasted me for 7 months

No! Bare Minerals are great products, my sister and I use them everyday and we never seem darker that we are. We always end up flawless and beautiful never bronzy.

I don't think it makes everyone that way. I just purchased some recently and I think it makes me look like I have airbrushed skin. I guess you have to really make sure to get the right color and use everything in moderation, especially the all over face color in warmth.
