well it has more to do with only the 2nd world war. After the stock market crashed, jobs were nowhere to be found. When we got into the war, The need for steel and airplanes, cars, trucks, tanks gun, ammo etc. These went through the roof, this helped to effectively end the great depression

You mean chronologically? Well.. ww1 then depression then ww2
If you mean more of the actual connection .. then WWI once it was over the European powers were pretty poor off, especially Germany (because of the war and because of a pretty mean treaty) but the 20's in the US and Canada allowed people to 'cheer up' by spending and spending to forget the horrors of war. Europe already was in a depression so....
But then the Stock Market was becoming over priced and adjustments were made. This freaked people out who sold like crazy, which devalued stocks, forcing people to sell more ... and prices plumetted... many companies shut, people lost their jobs and it was pretty bad. And because both the US and Canada relied so much on exports and now no longer had a market (in Europe) this hit them even harder.
In Europe, the bad economic times caused people to look to extreme political change... enter Mussolini and HItler. Each promised, and actually delivered, massive economic revival. However, to keep the economy driven Germany began to put pressure on other nations and began to build an empire. This got them into conflict with other nations and... WWII ....
If you want the Japan, China, US side of things... well... it's getting long already

the great depression had nothing to do with ww1 but was a major cause of ww2.

the depression hit germany the hardest as they had borrowed massive amounts of money from american banks, (that went broke and/or recalled the loans), in order to pay the reparations of the versailles treaty.
These loans supported german industry and so it collapsed when they were called in.

Therefore the german people were unemployed and starving, Hitler promised jobs and so he got into power.
He then gave them jobs building roads, tanks, munitions and other things in preparation for war.

This is explained in more detail on www.thegreatdepression.co.uk

i suppose I'm going to say, u want the American version-but that's not the one particular application that id the most damage-it was the starving depression in Germany that gave Hitler the people to save and they payed him back by joining his ranks and that is the part of the poor stupid fools who were depression and had a war, they were the cause of the starving to take pride and redeem themselves with the scourage of the swastika
