This season its Yao. He's having a MVP type of a season. After him theres names like Stoudemire, Camby, but they're far off from what Yao is doing. I'm a big Shaq fan so hopefully he can recover from his surgery and be a effective enough to get Miami over their slump or at least back to the Finals.

Yao Ming...his averages are by far better than any other center in the league 27 points 10 rebounds 2.2 blks 52% field goal 86% free throw
he can dominate inside the paint or hit the mid range jumper plus he is consistent and is even good during clutch time
the only other center that compare right now is either shaq or dwight howard

Dude it Shaq and Yoa. Hey I gotta admit Yoa was overrated last year and the year before that...Shaq wasnt. Now Yoa has some very good points up there in the stats and is doing great on defense but hey he could get hurt next game and be out for the season, its to early to say he will get defenseive player of the year award or MVP but as of right now Yoa leads with some impressive numbers.

yao ming as of right now. 2 straight games with 13+ boards, and 30+ pts, and 2 nights ago he came off of a 8 block game. this guy is only 26, just look at his future, he is so hard to stop when hes posted up.

yao ming is can shoot, board and drain his freethrows. dwight howard is also pretty dominant and will probably lead the nba in rebounding.
