I've heard this commercial on the radio. It was advertising this new way of shopping online for people without credit cards, teenagers, etc... It said that is works wherewer visa cards are accepted. Also said that you can buy it with your phone's credit - hope I'm not making this up. Anyone remembers the name of the company ??

Yes, I do remember it. John R, the point has already been made about NOT having a credit card. Debit cards, visa, maestro, can be used in most instanes but I have heard of this buy using your 'phone credit. Sorry, I can't remember what it was called. Don't recall it having anything to do with PayPal though.

Be careful about using anything but a credit card. You have no protection. If they charge your phone bill, you have no recourse. With a credit card you can dispute the charge and get your money back. Not from the phone company. Don't do it, I promise you'll pay more than you expected to and be sorry you did.

Sounds like Paypal was working on this back in April.

I know you can give them a bank account number and they'll do an electronic check out of your account now.

But don't know if the phone part is working yet.

I use my debit card. I would be skeptical of that commercial.
