Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is a quaint Victorian town that is a well known honeymoon haven. The leaves are gorgeous at the end of October. I was just there for two weeks this fall. Stay at the Sycamore Cottage which is very private and facing the woods or the New Orleans Hotel downtown.

Try a cruise. I cruised on October a few years ago and Had the best weather. At least on a ship you can move away from hurricanes. On land ex. Dominican Republic or Mexico you are stuck. Have a great time.

The Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg Tennessee is a good honeymoon destination anytime of year. You can get a chalet or cabin in the mountains with a fireplace and a jacuzzi. It's awesome! http://www.mountainchalets.com/default.aspx
