I don't know what you mean by: "does anyone have any types to lessen the embarrassment" What do you mean by types? I don't know of any condoms that lessen the embarrassment, my advice is to get them at a place that you wont go back to. Buy lots, and think about the fact that you'll probably never see these people again.

How to buy them without embarrassment? By having more confidence in yourself. There is nothing embarrassing about it. The shop employees don't care. They sell them many times throughout the day. Good for you for buying them at all! (You are in the UK? So, isn't it even legal there for a 16 year old to have sex? Then, there should be no embarrassment at all. In the US the age of consent is 18 in nearly every state.)

4. Walk in like an adult and buy them.

Stop being so self conscious and just buy them. It's none of the clerk at the store's business what you do in your private life and more than likely they don't give a crap. No offense but to them you're just another nameless faceless customer so don't worry about it.

Take a small bag with you to put them in. Hopefully the checker will have enough sense to not wave them in the air and call for a price check.

just grab a pack and walk to the checkout and while you at it grab a mag and prend that your buying the mag to and later when the checkout ppl say how much it is drop the mag n pay n walk out as fast as you can.. and if your interested in that mag grab that to..
