Usually right after Christmas there are HUGE sales. You could also do your cold weather clothes shopping in the spring and do your warm weather clothes shopping in the fall. Granted you can wear the clothes for a few months but you get a bargain AND it's motivation not to gain weight.

Prices don't go down after thanksgiving, except for2 days, then they go up higher than the original price until after christmas.

I like to shop right after Valentine's Day. On top of jewelery being on sale, the winter clothers are here,to make room for spring, so you can grab great deals on mittens,coats,boots..and great chocolate(leftover from the big day before at GREAT prices!

About a month or two before the seasons change, stores are getting ready for the new season, so they drop the prices on the current seasons items.

Presidents Day, New Years, and of course Valentines Day are the best ones I can think of. Oh and Memorial Day and Fourth of July

After Christmas, before school starts the summer clothes are cheap. There are sales for everything now. There is just too much stuff to sell it all.
