First of all...check your facts again. cia worldfact book may be a bit askew. Then check the diversity ratio in jails and prisons. Then check the diversity ratio of uneducated and drop-outs. Please do not say that is is the "white man" keeping anyone down either. We all make our own beds and we have to lie in them. Hate to tell you, but we are BY FAR the most diverse nation. There has been talk of having 2 different NATIONAL languages!!!!! Give me a break. Sorry, but that is a ridiculous question. If you say that we have more racists in our country than most places, I would agree. But we are diverse.

The world factbook leaves out latinos from that 81% figure:
"note: a separate listing for Hispanic is not included because the US Census Bureau considers Hispanic to mean a person of Latin American descent (including persons of Cuban, Mexican, or Puerto Rican origin) living in the US who may be of any race or ethnic group (white, black, Asian, etc.)"
Either way, even if the 81% figure was correct, we'd still be more diverse than most other countries in the world.

Does "diverst" mean "diverse"? If so then people say America is a diverse place because diversity is much more than black, white or brown. Diversity has to do with religion, sexual preference, sex and other things in that way the US is very diverse or diverst if you don't use spell checker.

I think that they mean that we are more racially and culturally diverse than most other countries in the world. And Americans tend to value those cultural differences as well.
