I think Vince Young will win it this year.

Whoa there Bron James. Vince Young has broken 2 count them 2 records this season. Also, the Titans went five and 0 before starting Young. Now the Titans are still barely competing for the Playoffs. Hester has been amazing but he is only a special teams player and look what happened to Dante Hall for the Chiefs. I don't think he won any awards. Vince Young will win over Reggie Bush because of two reasons. Both are probably HOF candidates from what we have seen, but Reggie plays on a decent team, with an O-line, and Deuce McAllister to help tire out the line for him. Also, Reggie's numbers on the ground are not that impressive. 4 touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys, but less than 70 yards on the ground. Overall, VY will win the Rookie of the Year because of what he has done for his team and what position he plays.

Earlier in the season I would have went with Marcus Colston because he had such an impact at wide receiver for his team. He pretty much came out of know where with no hype to make waves. At this point in the season though I would have to say Vince Young. He has had such an impact with the Titans, helping them win games when they might not had. I was a firm believer when he pulled off the touchdown run against Houston ala shades of the Rose Bowl. He is the type player who can take a game on his shoulders and try to win it for his team. He has took a team like the Titans from being a joke, to being winners again.

Marques Colston was a runaway with it until his injury caused him to miss a couple games and level the field a bit. This is probably the best rookie class in a long time. Young, Maroney, Hester, Jones-Drew, and Bush have all played well along with Colston and others, although Colston's been consistently putting up good numbers since the beginning of the season.

I think Vince young will win Rookie of the year with Devon Hester running a close second

It should go to Marcus Colston, but his injury hurt his chances. DeBrickashaw Ferguson stands a really good chance of getting it. However, it will probably go to Vince Young or Reggie Bush since they have very big profiles and will likely draw the most sponsor money.

If the Jets go into the playoffs after last year's dismal finish.. I think it should be DeBrickshaw Ferguson. He has done alot to stablize a O Line that destroyed Chad Pennington last year. The small things go along way in the NFL....

Vince Young and Reggie Bush are probably the most obvious candidates, but I'll put in my vote for a dark horse: Devin Hester...
