There is once a saying, "If you open your mind sufficiently enough, people will throw alot of garbage in it".
On the flip side of course, you're going to get it the hard way if you're slapping a NO sign on everything. Those who stand for nothing, falls for everything.
And, if you virtually believe in everything you read you're seriously going to get alot of self-contradition and self-conflicts.
Like everyone else said, think critically and judge between right and wrong yourself.

heck no. reading is good, but don't automatically believe 'virtually everything' you read. you have to use your brain to decide what's is right and wrong! just because it's written does not make it so.

It's better to be skeptical instead of hiding behind naive idealism. Analyze and think about what it is that you are reading, if it's valid, relevant, applicable etc. Of course, you don't have to believe me, at least try to think critically.
