THE NBA IS A BUSINESS. NO FIGHTING. IF YOU KNOW IT IS WRONG, WHY DO IT?

I'll have to agree with the idea that it's pretty childish

Just look at the Pacers/Knicks game. You saw little kids crying their heads out at the game. The only reason that fight & this fight happened is because when you're on a team of any sort, you need to defend your teammates

I agree with your idea of Melo's punch, but at the same time, Robinson, or who ever commited the foul, should have made an effort to at least make the foul look more clean

I think that if they are going to fight they might actually learn to punch first. It seems that the NBA has the only guys that look more like they are slapping each other rather than punching. They all seem to do that flail hit from way up and away from the body random rather than to hit solid and straight.

I do not condone fighting in the NBA, keep the thug act off the court.

Melo's sucker punch was cowardly act.

I think fighting is wrong, but the NBA needs it to keep some juice flowing.

I, myself would of done the same thing Collins did to Smith. Smith was getting too cocky and deserved it.

Once, Bum Phillips, at the time the head coach of the Houston Oilers, was asked by a reporter - following a particularly poor game, "Coach, how do you feel about the execution of your team?". Coach Phillips didn't miss a beat. "I think it's a good idea", he replied.
I know that doesn't have anything to do with the question, but I thought you might like the story anyway.

man you just licked your own butt ... Melo punch was too hard for Collins so he went down... Melo was just ganged up by those Knicks because nobody in the whole team of Knicks can take Melo down with one punch so they had to tackle Melo down... at least Melo tried to save his pride and respect to everything and everyone!

of course fighting in the nba is wrong, but it cant be stopped. u have to expect the unexpected like what we saw at MSG on saturday night. in the knicks case, the whole fight was caused by the young young players on both teams, who were all un disciplined, especially nate robinson. nate robinson did not think before he acted, thinking he was ready to get fight on.

fighting in the NBA might end up being really fun but mean. you may be able to accomplish many things in the process but you might get hurt. if you dont want to take the chance of getting hurt dont do.if you feal that you really want to do it go for it.
