Soak it with water and get rid of the paper. When it's down to mostly glue, and a little bit of paper, soak it with Goo-Gone and cover with paper towels - to allow Goo-Gone to soak in for a little while. It will come off easily after the soaking. Spot clean with Goo-Gone on a rag. Rinse thoroughly with water, and wash with mild soap when you're done. Voila!

If you are that concerned about it, have it professionally removed. That way if there is any damage the insurance company will take car of it. If you are driving a "very nice black Lexus" you probably can afford to have it professionally done.

GOO lengthy previous is accessible in a touch can, is a liquid and could gently get rid of the goo that continues to be - also reliable for most different applications. The GOO lengthy previous and a smooth cotton rag ( previous blouse ) will do the job.
