I've been reading the questions on here and yours keep coming up, i keep reading the answers from eveyone else, and I agree with the people saying you are too young. I've seen people grinding and it is basically as close to sex as you can get being fully clothed and in public. You really have been getting answers, the short and simple explanations are exactly what grinding is.
One thing on relationships, it sounds like you like this guy that wants you to grind with him and it sounds like this is a first date type thing. If you have never done this with anyone else, don't start with a guy you barely know, wait until you are older and have been dating/in a relationship, for a month or two and you really know the guy and are very comfortable around him. If you are hoping to turn this guy into a boyfriend then you are going to want him to respect you, to save you trouble later on, this will also cause less fights. You don't know how to grind, ok, tell him that, it 'd be good if you can get your parents to let you go out to dinner with him before the dance, that way you have time to talk to him. I want you to think about something, i don't know how you would answer these questions, jsut think about them and answer them in you head.
As of now, have you kissed a guy?
Are you comfortable with a guy touching you?
If you are not used to being touched all over, and trust me his hands will want to wander over your body, don't let him touch you, don't grind with him. Grinding as i explained before is very sexual, and if you haven't become used to and comfortable touching this guy in way that is not sexual, then going from nothing to almost sex is a huge jump and will not help a new relationship. The most important thing in a relationship is Respect, if a couple does not respect each other they don't have a happy relationship, trust me.
Don't grind with a guy you not already close to, their minds are already thinking about sex too much without the physical stimulation.
Keep it fun and casual.

Look, if you are as young as you sound, grinding is only going to get you both kicked off the dance floor anyway.

At my school grinding is not allowed and it probably isn't at yours. So if you do you will probably get in serious trouble.
