high use of gases that causes global warming

The same as everywhere else of course..!

Global warming
Recycling
Oil slicks
Refuse disposal (of items not suitable for recycling)
Typhoons
Tsunamis
Earthquakes
Volcanic eruptions near residential areas
HIV / aids ... if that qualifies!

Think of the ecological concerns in YOUR country, and it's more than likely that they are also concerns here. Unfortunately, except for the recycling, there's not enough being done about any of those concerns. Here in Japan, or anywhere else. Of course, you can't prevent tsunamis, typhoons or earthquakes, but you can stop letting people live near active volcanoes...!!

There are big recycling issues at the moment going on in Japan, if you don't put your garbage in the right bags then they put a rejection letter on it and don't take it. Not mine of course, but because most people live in apartments you can never know who it was...
