A single moment in time can make you unhappy for the rest of your life if you allow it to. Time heals all wounds. We may never forget that moment but we learn to live with it and as the time passes it is easier to deal with that moment.

A Single moment cannot make you unhappy forever coz the most defining trait of man has been his adaptability to situations and circumstances and life will go on for us , no matter what . There may be moments of pain when you'll pause to think of what you have lost but most of the time , you'll be fine without you even realising it.

all happiness or unhappiness is relative because it is entirely up to the person involved if you refuse to be happy or unhappy then nothing can truly change that decision you are the only one that can decide how you feel at any given time you cannot change a great deal in this world but you can change your attitude. The old saying that when life gives you lemons make lemonade is never more true about choice of attitude so no to your question but only if you really are in control of your life and your attitude. We all know someone who's almost always upbeat and that is because they are good to themselves about their attitude and try mightily every day to find something to feel good about and stick with it. You can just as easily or even easier find something to be pissed about or sad about so it is always and only up to you

You can indeed make a mistake that you will regret, but the mental hospitals are full of people who believe that only their sin, and not that of others, cannot be forgiven. All mistakes can be remedied, but sometimes it takes years to do so. But an act that may be abominable, does not take place in "a single moment." It takes thinking, feeling, willing over a long time, to take place. I have found that many if not all desires that are encouraged by the individual, even in the privacy of his/her own soul, will manifest in time. "There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed." (scripture; is it the Bible this quote comes from?)

Time is a great healer ......... life is too resilient to stop on account of any significant moment....... but then I must grudgingly admit that it can still happen to one who is very highly introspective.... after all I do believe that nothing is impossible!!

Well, I once saw an episode of Oprah where this lady's ex-husband slaughtered their children and then killed himself in her house while she was grocery shopping. It depicted her finding condolence and friendship with her children's friends aswell as her explaining that she feels that she is only a shell of a person now and stuff. So yeah I guess.
