like, about a week or less, and there was a slim chance that I could get pregnant, would I miss that period?

You should miss the period... although if you have implantation bleeding, you could mistake that spotting for a period. And of course there is the occasional woman who does have normal menses throughout her pregnancy, BUT:

If I had to make a prediction... if you had a normal period a week after intercourse, you are not pregnant.

If u r regular with ur periods, the ovulation period is 12-14 from the onset of period. It can however vary. U can become pregnant only when u have sex during the period of ovulation.

Would'nt think you could conceive a few days before cycle.However you should stop playing russian roulette with sex.Practice safe sex and save yourself a lot of anxiety and grief

No, you should still menstruate normally for that cycle. It would be future cycles that are interrupted.
