I filed a claim and I got my money back. The seller must prove that you did get the item..They have to provide a tracking number where it can be tracked..if there isn't one it is like it wasn't sent..I had that problem..my seller said it was sent but I never got it...there was no proof it was sent..I got my money..takes a few weeks but should get it

Paypal "can" get the money back from the seller "if" the seller has any money in their paypal account. After filing a dispute, the seller is sent an email from paypal. They are given several days to respond to it, proving that is was shipped. If they don't respond, paypal automatically rules in your favor. However, unless the seller has money in the account, paypal won't end up doing anything. If you paid by credit card, you could try pursuing a fraud claim through them. If you bought it through ebay, you can get the seller contact info through the help section (type in seller contact info). Try calling the guy directly. If he/she is in a small town, you never know, the local police there might be willing to pay him/her a visit. Good luck.

I hope so. My grandson just bought an Xbox on ebay and the seller will not answer the numerous emails we've sent her. If the item isn't received by Monday we're making a claim. It'll be 7 days. This has never happened on ebay before. Good luck!

I can't say what they will do in your case but I've received my money back every time I've petitioned Paypal. Both times I bought things on eBay, paid with Paypal, and didn't receive my items. Also both times the seller wouldn't respond to emails from myself or Paypal. Good luck.

Generally, you should be able to get your money back. But I hope you don't need it any time soon.
