Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

Well, in each religion some find what God wants them to do is good and worth living for. Some people thinks that dying would hurt, and they don't want to be away from the people they love for more then an hour, but if you would have asked why do people who live want to die. And, I would have said because something that they went through in their life, something traumatic, and people don't treat them quite right, and they can't understand why they lived, unless God has a sick sense of humor. But, they won't kill themselves, because they have found salvation between book covers. But, you asked what is the meaning to life, as I read once in either spin or rolling stone, the Dahlia llama said it is to be happy, to laugh, and live; be glad where you are in life right now. Nothing more, nothing less, just laugh. God played a wonderful trick on some of us, and so we laugh all day and all night about it.

Hi Camer M !!!
O.K. !!! I hope you understand this explanation, because unless you have a strong CHRISTIAN background, or some faith of some kind it will be a little difficult to get my point across.
Your question is very interesting, and the answer should be divided in three!!!.
First --- Why are some people dying to live???
They are, because life is great, is beautiful, there are so many places to go people to meet and things to do !!!!
No two people are the same, like snowflakes!!! There are so many things we know, and yet we can make better, like ourseves!!!
Some people "are dying" to see, be and do everything they possibly can, because they are going to die!!!
Second----- Some people are just living their lifes, comptent with where they live, what they have, who they know and don't have the drive to experience much , because they know they are going to die !!!
So they say, why to do, see or go any where if I'm going to die anyway!!!
NOW, the third and most important explanation, is that ragardless if you are "so eager" to do so much while you are in this
world, or regardless if you "don't want" to do much, while you are living in this world; Is irrelevant!!!
What people need to make sure is of having their hearts in tune with their actions, try to be good from the inside out, since everybody is going to die, yes, (IN THIS WORLD) !!!!
BUT WE STILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO LIVE AN ETERNAL LIFE. And here is where you need of your religion background or your beliefs !!!
Like everything, has to end on this imperfect world, we too
have to end, because we are NOT perferct ourselves!!!
But there is a perfect place, and we have the chance to go there, only and only if we belife!!! Belief in GOD, IN JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!
A very good friend of mine which by the way I'm totally in love with him; send me this e-mail the other day! It says,: I RATHER LIVE MY LIFE, TO FIND OUT THERE'S NO GOD, THAN LIFE MY LIFE AND THEN FIND OUT THERE IS!!!!
This is very powerful, now; you asked a question, I'm going to ask you another one. No need to aswer to me. Just answer it honestly to yourself.
HOW WOULD YOU RATHER LIVE YOUR LIFE?????
GOD BLESS YOU PRAY
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Your question is a very valid and perplexing one. Those that are dying to live most often are those who want to make the most of their life. Those whom are living to die are merely existing to justify their end. However, both of those reasonings are wrong by themselves. If one exists that does both, then that person is closer to understanding the truth behind our existence. God put us here for a reason, and I think that reason is to try to understand the reasoning of our existence.
However, part of our problem in understanding this is that we have a very narrow view of existence in itself. It's not just why WE exist. It's more about why EVERYTHING exists. That's what science is all about. It's our way of trying to understand why we exist...and understanding how God works. And that's my two cents...

"Why are some people who are dying to live?" - They are not finished with buisness on earth.
"...When we are living to die" - I think theres something wrong with this statement. You're saying the REASON we live IS to die. If you are planning to go to heaven, then i guess this would make sense, but it doesn't make sense for me, because I don't live for death.
I live because there's no reason not to live. I got put here and since there's no reason to do otherwise, i stick with life.

The meaning of life is to experience life. Every aspect of it, as much as possible. The joy, the pain, the, the ecstasy, the sorrow, the laughter, the tears, the fun, the work, the happiness, the anger and every other conceivable emotion and feeling and situation possible. Don't just play it safe, get out there and experience life every chance you get.

I spent years trying to figure this out myself and finally as I sat watching the world out my window it came to me. The meaning of life is simple. We are born we grow up, we reproduce, we die. There you go, we are put on this planet to die. Of course we have to make a big fat mess of things before we kick off but it doesn't change anything.

The meaning of life is to live by the Utilitarianist motto: "The Greatest Happiness for the Greatest Number." (Francis Hutcheson) The Utilitarian meaning of life is that something is good if it promotes happiness and pleasure, and doesn't cause pain or unhappiness.

I will show you, but only God can guide you to the straight path.
a[003:191] Those who remember God (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.
[022:073] O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily, those on whom you call besides God, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatches away a thing from them, they will have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought.
[023:115] "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"
[023:116] So Exalted is God, the True King: Lâ ilâha illâ Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!
[023:117] And whoever invokes (or worships) besides God, any other ilâh (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely, Al-Kâfirûn (the disbelievers in God and in the Oneness of God, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful.
[023:118] And say (O Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him]): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!"
[038:027] And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve! Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Islâmic Monotheism) from the Fire!
[038:028] Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of God – Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds as Mufsidûn (those who associate partners in worship with God and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2) as the Fujjâr (criminals, disbelievers, the wicked)?
[038:029] (This is) a Book (the Qur'ân) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember.
