OK, I'm a Steeler fan, and I really don't like the Patriots, so it kills me to say this. Tom Brady is consistently the most valuable player on any team. You cannot argue with his success, and he is really the only star that the Patriots have. He plays, arguably, the most important position on the most successful team in recent history. Tom Brady gets my vote. (Troy Polamalu gets my vote for defensive MVP, but Tom Brady still wins overall).

Even though I think L.T. is very good. I'm going to have to say Payton Manning. His ability to read defensive schemes and audible new plays midway through a offensive drive is a very unique skill.
