Are these things even real or just something for kids to believe in. If it is real and dangerous, how come they are selling it at Toys R US and it says for ages 8 and up. If it was so dangerous, why would they put in in the toy section. Here is the link to prove it.

If it is real, how can it logically be explained?

The ouija boards have always been called dangerous devices, but in modern science through a witch,is that if you approach the board on a positive energy force field, than you will get positive results.but as usual,if you approach it with negativity, than negativity you will get.ouija boards have been used by alot of wiccans and witches for the use of divination for their solitary practises.some use it to contact a loved one,but more less they use it for divination purposes.if you are thinking about using the ouija board, please,on one condition, approach the board with care.and please respect it.it is not a toy.it is serious.

Ouija boards are quite safe. I have used a ouija board and nothing happened. The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard. It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone. It has no supernatural powers. The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement. It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears. It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything. Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

Ok, the ouija board is nothing more than a tool. It's absolutely no different than a deck of cards, a pendulum, a dowsing rod (what your grandfather used to use to do "water witching" so that he could find a place to dig the family's well), a hammer or a gun. A tool is neither good nor evil by itself. It is the manner in which the tool is used that determines whether that action is good or evil.

A ouija board is a more basic (and easier to use) form of automatic writing. If you believe that a thing is evil because it can be used to convey messages by forces unseen, then you had better stop using any kind of writing instrument at all because they can all be used to do exactly the same thing.

I've been using ouija boards and automatic writing for over 15 years and have never had anything that was "harmful". Quite the contrary, I have used the information gathered to help me in my own life and (after using basic logic and reasoning skills) have found that the insight has helped me thru some really tough decisions in life.

This is very dangerous, and shouldn't be sold in any store. With a Ouija board you don't know who you are talking to. 99.9 percent of the time it evil. I know of a young girl who became very sick because of a Ouija board. I know most people will not believe this but i am not making this up. Do not mess with a Ouija board ITS NOT A GAME!!!!!!!!

Good God NO they're not safe. It can't be logically explained why. Either you believe in the spirit realm, or you don't. If you don't believe in things like that, then nothing short of an unquestionable personal experience will make you. If you do, then you believe that Ouija boards are, to paraphrase psychic Sylvia Browne, like tthrowing open the front door of your house and inviting anyone and everyone to come on in regardless of who they are or if you know them. Me, I'd rather not take chances.

Real. Call my mom parinoid but back in the 60's or 70's my mom's parents bought one. So they began playing it and evil things began to happen. My mothers brother got sick, and just odd, evil things took place. So one day my grandmother threw it out, and everything stopped. Nothing bad happened until my mom and her fam moved into a haunted house.

ToysRUs sell them because they're toys. While your religion teaches you not to use them, many people see no reason not too. To them its a perfectly valid way of asking questions and getting answers in a fun, trivial way. In other words, THEY THINK OF IT AS A TOY!

I always felt "uneasy" about ouija boards. Never wanted to try one but then I don't do horoscopes anymore either. So I guess my answer would be not safe as pertaining to me.
