Where to find break-away clasps for lanyards?

I am wanting to make my own lanyards out of beads. I would really like to find the break-away clasps to go on them for safety reasons. I have typed in everything I can think of in a search engine but they all come with lanyards attached. Anybody know where to find the clasps only? Thanks.

Lanyard clasps..also known as hooks are sometimes found in the "Findings" sections of craft and bead shops.

Michaels also has a good beading section in their stores...perhaps if you have one of their stores in your area, you could try there...nothing came up in a search on their website.

Check your local Michael's and Jo-Anne Fabrics. They have a lot of stuff that you can't find at their websites. Also try Wiccan shops, they sell a lot of jewelry making supplies. Darice is one company that makes some of the strangest jewelry supplies so you might want to try their site to see if they have what you need.
