I actually really like Paris Hilton... she has the confidence I think every girl would love to have. Even with all the drama that comes her way (i.e. 'sex tape', phone hacked) she stayed calm and collective. She's totally sassy, and I adore her self-confidence... Btw, I like Nicole Richie too! =P

The phenomenon of Paris Hilton completely baffles me. She famous for doing -- NOTHING. Being rich, and being paid to show up at clubs and parties. That's it.
Aside from being a master spin machine who believes her own hype (ie: that sex tape, her "chastity" vow, constantly giving interviews and showing up in hot spots), she hasn't done anything to deserve all the publicity and adoration she gets. (Hey, I've heard her sing. Yikes.)
I'm sure she's a nice person once you get to know her, yada yada yada, but as far as being a public figure or celebrity goes, I'd rather see photographs or interviews of someone who deserves them for being a humanitarian or really good at what they do, not for showing up at La Scala wearing a Dolce and Gabbana dress and forgetting to put on underpants. (That's a hypothetical example, just FYI. It just illustrates the kind of publicity she seems to get.)
I don't dislike her (I've never met her), but I don't watch her on TV or read about her at all. Other people deserve my attention more.

I try not to think of her very much but it is hard to do when she is all over the media. She must have a great publisist to make something out of nothing at all.

I think that personally she is nice, but I also think that she reflects herself as a party girl who acts as a s-lut (sorry Paris) but I really think that she is a good person.
