my infant has not grown out of his infant rear facing car seat yet. I was just wondering what you have purchased, and your opinion if you would buy it again.

I have owned MANY car seats...I have 3 kids...5,3, and 1 years of age. I only purchase GRACO infant seats. So to answer your question, right now I use a BRITAX Roundabout, BRITAX Marathon, and I also own 2 BRITAX Parkway boosters. I have also owned a COSTCO Alpha Omega, and boy did I HATE it! It had a overhead sheild and was a pain. If I forgot to put the shield down then I couldn't see out the back window!! So needless to say, it found a new home out by the curb (this was WAY before I found the WONDERS of EBAY!). I have also owned a COSTCO Touriva. I got it at Wal-Mart for $40.00. BEST carseat I have ever OWNED!! Easy to install, feels soft and plush, and above all it is SAFE! And at $40.00 you could afford 2 if needed! So please don't let hype and advertising get in the way of your purchase...check out Consumer reports and GOOGLE for a list of the safest car seats if need be. Hope this helps.

I recently purchase the Evenflo Titan convertible carseat for my 6 month old who is 1 pound away from outgrowing the rear facing carrier car seat. It can face backward or forward depending on the age of your child, its highly rated and inexpensive compared to those $250 ones as it is only around $60.

All automobile seats ought to bypass the comparable protection standards. Cosco type makes a convetible forward/backwards dealing with seat for 5-a hundred lbs for $50. you may get it at Walmart suitable now for $40 3.88. It is offered in boy and female colorings and maximum chain shops have them in inventory.

Just remember that it is against the law for companies to make unsafe carseats, and if there is a defect, you can find out by calling the sompany and asking if there's been any recalls. Also, when you buy one, get the registration card filled out and sent in so you will be notified of any recalls.

Pretty much whatever you buy is going to be safe. My carseat for my daughter cost $43.00. Cheap, reliable, and safe.

I like the Graco snugride 2. The mystic color is nice for both sexes. The Brixton are the top recommend ones for safety though, but the are not cheap.
