Do whatever works best for your situation. Not everyone has the perfect ideal life and schedule so you have to adjust. If you celebrate on a different day, the Christmas police are not going to bust down your door since people do what you are describing all the time.

Of course! Have Christmas Eve on Tuesday and Christmas day on Wednesday. Have fun and enjoy! Merry Christmas even if it isn't December 25th.

Of course it is, you and your husband need to spend the time together and you can celebrate the holiday at anytime that you feel in your heart and I hope that next year that you and your husband can not only spend the day together but can be with your family.

Merry Christmas

We are actually exchanging gifts the day after Christmas, because we both work, but we want to enjoy watching our son open his presents for the first time. Do it when you want to,just as long as you can do it as a family thenthat should be important.

Whenever you want. Your 8-month old child won't know what day it is. As for you and your husband, a gift any day is like Christmas anyway.

It's not about *when* you celebrate Christmas. It's about *why* you celebrate it. So whatever day works for your family is the perfect day to observe it.

Enjoy & Merry Christmas!!

the real meaning behind Christmas is the birth not the specific day. it is believed that the birth was actually in the spring (April or latter) when the Shepard's would have been in the field with their sheep. so the day isn't the thing its the meaning you are celebrating.
