If people who haven't found God find him in traumatic times, should we pray for them to experience trauma as to find God?

I think you're brainwashed. If god were real, he'd have killed me and sent me to hell a looong time ago. Or maybe that's why he sent me Peg?

No I don't think that is the best way. I think God can come to people and people can find God without it being during a traumatic time.
