Check the spec sheet before you buy... if it has a modem, it can use dial-up...

Laptops, just like desktops, can use dial-up via modems, wireless via a wireless adapter, or a hardwired LAN connection using a network card.

You just need to have the right adapters. Most newer laptops have the network card built in, and many also have a modem or wireless card. If it doesn't, you can always buy a PC card for that capability.

It can use any network interface it has installed, dialup, wired or wireless. My IBM laptop has all three and I have used all three. So far as the network stack is concerned, one is as good as another.

as long as it has a dial up modem it can yes, if can also connect using eithernet. a laptop is the same as a desktop, just have to have the right hardware

both...if u see a network port then it can connect to the internet,if you u see a card slot about three inches long it means that the laptop is wireless...if you see both on laptop,then its a good one
