Literally, as high as heaven. "Santa Claus" is the Dutch for Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Smyrna in the 4th century. As a Christian, he's in heaven now. All the rest is fictional legend.

Only on Christmas Eve. He uses a lot of magic powder to make himself feel small enough to squeeze down chimneys. I think he gets the munchies from it too cuz he eat a whole lot of cookies.

I would think so since so many people are real high off this spirit everywhere, if santa isnt high off the fumes, then he must be invincible.
