How are you defining your soul? Personally I think your soul is the essence of who you are as a spiritual being, your humaness. So I don't understand how this can necessarily be lost. I suppose you can feel as if it's lost if you're in a state of confusion, regret or disillusionment. But who are you resides with you permanently. You are not your actions or your choices. Everyday is a new day to start anew on a journey to be who you idealize.

It will come back on its own. You feel de-ttached right now because of something that happened perhaps. That feeling will fade in time. Your soul will return...or so you will feel that is has. We learn from lifes experiences...some experiences we learn from them...other experiences we gain experience ourselves and insight and become stronger. Talk through your pain with someone close to you...forgive yourself if you feel you have done something wrong, forgive someone else if they have done something you felt was wrong, but do not worry too much about your current situation as you will feel better before you know it:)

The love you take is equal to the love you make. To feel better, make others feel better. Volunteer, meet new people, listen to others' problems, give some one something they need. Your soul is still there, of course. It's just waiting for you to allow it to make you aware of its presence.

Tell God you are sorry, for everything that you might have done wrong.
Then consider who you are, excluding your beliefs and works.
Consider what it means that the answer is "I am."
Be at peace, and love you neighbor.
