I've always been shy most of my life due to how I looked and me being a little overweight so I havent really dated that much but recently I was diagnosed with cancer and went through the whole chemo and radiation treatments and realized that looks dont matter as much as I thought they used to, but I've been working out and losing weight so I feel better about myself now and I have more confidence but due to the whole cancer thing I'm afraid that if I tell anyone I'm interested in that I've had cancer they'll be afraid to do anything intimate with me due to alot of the stereotyping people acciociate with cancer. I also have scars from the surgeries I had to undergo during treatment. Should I tell them about it or not and if not then what should I do about the scars?

Women love scars. In fact, the more, the better. You might consider getting a seductive slash across your face somewhere that signifies you have been in a decisive battle.

Well i have to say taht the first guy who commented on this is full of that stuff that plops in the the toilet and smells realy bad. Personaly if you have your eyes set on someone then i would go for it. cancer is much more discusted and understood these days and i dont think that it will be a problem. on the other hand if you dont have a certin someone in mind then i would try to get to gether with a person friend (a guy perferably) and get him to go out to a club with you sometime. u can meet alot of poeple there and its a good way of getting in to the swing of things. after being out of school it gets hard to meet people so easy. depending on your age and depending on if you are going to some kind of school. i would give the clubing thing a thought. A big no no tho would be to go after someone you work with. this is dangorous and take it from someone that knows. it could cost you your job

be yourself that is all we females ask for. we care if you have been through cancer but not like in a bad way. we seem to want to make sure you are safe and happy. we look for the good things in people not what your past was like. beening you is all we ask.
