I saw on internet someone is selling some '14kt gold rings'. however it doesn't say if it's solid or plated. Can I assume that, if it says '14kt gold rings', it implies solid gold already? Or it could mean 14kt gold plated too? Thanks for any answers.

Be sure to read the fine print. The large print may say 14 kt but the fine print may say plated. If all it says is 14kt it is implied that it is solid. If the item(s) is/are shown on EBay or such, check out the sellers feedback. Be sure they are reputable and accept returns if item is not as described. Best Wishes!

14k gold plating means only that the outer metal layer of the ring is gold not the metal under the plating {which is good for not turning your finger green.}

That description doesn't give you a clear answer, so I would ask the person selling it. It could mean either one.
