I try to swing them normally, but it never feels right
I guess it's just selfcouncioussness
I usually end up putting my hands in my pockets

As long as I am not swinging my arms in an exaggerated manner, then I do not feel uncomfortable about swinging my arms when I walk. Though, if I am in tight situations like walking in the hallway at school, I think that I tend to consciously keep my arms under control or in my pockets to avoid brushing anyone.

It is perfectly natural to brachiate.
Brachiate: to progress by swinging from hold to hold by the arms (MerriamWebster)
Brachiating is a method of movement used by primates. Imagine a chimp swinging through the forest canopy. It's just how we tend to move.

Unless your arms are swinging wildly in a "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!" manner, just go with the flow.

I have noticed that when I'm feeling kind of introverted or shy or if I simply am not feeling cute at the time I tend to put my hands in my pockets or walk kind of frankensteiny but when I'm feeling footloose and fancy free (i.e. drunk) my arms are swinging all over the place. Try singing a song in your head that makes you happy and swing to the beat. You may think that people will think you look absurd but they'll actually be drawn to your confidence and charisma.

YES I am comfortable walking and swinging my hands.
I feel like I can walk farther that way. It just puts a spring in my step!
