If you are really excited about this then tell them about the positive result. I miscarried my first pregnancy but I'm glad I told my parents cause there is nothing worse than going through heartbreak alone. Congratulations!

Try a couple more pregnancy tests and if they all show up positive, go to the doctor to get everything confirmed. Before you tell your family, make sure your pregnancy is for sure! Congratulations!!!

My husband and I got in to see the doc right away for a test. Then we went to my parents house to let them know. We couldnt wait to tell them. We were going to wait until christmas dinner to tell all of the grandparents, but we couldnt wait, we told them 2 weeks ago. Congratulations. Tell everyone you want to.

If you tell them about the positive test, you've already confirmed it for them.
Be honest and up front right now.

Honestly I would wait until all is confirmed and until your at least in your 4th month or when your showing. Reason being miscarriage is possible with anybody and from experience I miscarried at 8 weeks and everyone knew which made things difficult. So I would wait to tell everyone. good luck don't stress out, baby can feel it ;o)

If it is something that would tickle them pink, by all means go for it. If they won't be happy, I wouldn't tell them over christmas.

See a doctor first. Just because it was positive does not mean you will have a baby. Your body could reject it.
